Behind the Business

If you're on this page now then I assume you also love both tea and puns. This was actually the idea that launched Another Cup of Tea Shirts during a game of Tee K.O.

Since we couldn't hang out in person during the pandemic we started playing Jackbox Games over a Google Hangout. Our creative director Sarah dominated a round with a particularly punny t-shirt & design slogan which prompted several of the players to say 'Hey, I'd buy that!'.

Marketing director Lisa did some research and said 'Hey, nobody is selling that!'.

Then our E-commerce director Kat reserved Another Cup of Tea Shirts at Shopify and here we all are now.

Kat

E-commerce director Kat is a Shopify wizard and did a lot of the heavy lifting on setting up this website! She is also the co-owner of Albino Bee Studio along with her wife, Daisy. They make some really rad custom leashes, collars, and other non-pet accessories too!

Sarah

Creative director Sarah is the whole reason this business exists! Her love of tea & ideas are the inspiration for almost all of our designs. She also writes many (okay, so far all) of the blog posts you see on our website. If you haven't read Spilling the Tea yet, you should check it out!

Lisa

Marketing director Lisa has worked in a bakery for dogs, speaks Japanese, and is a former pole dance studio owner. She's non-traditional, I guess you might say. She is also a current online marketing business owner and has been a professional computer nerd in some capacity since 2009.

Fun fact: All 3 of the founders of Another Cup of Tea Shirts were burlesque performers, it's how we met! We became friends because we are all huge nerds and we all love tea.
